HAKONE, JAPAN – Hotel Okura will open its first Japanese resort, Okura Resort Hakone Gora, in 2029.
The property will feature 58 rooms, each with a private open-air hot spring bath using authentic Owakudani thermal water. Designed by Gwenael Nicolas, the resort follows a “Forest Hideaway” concept blending nature and modern luxury.
Additional offerings include teppanyaki dining and signature Okura service. The resort is positioned as a highly exclusive retreat in Hakone’s premier hot spring region.
